Reiki is a Japanese healing technique which helps the body heal itself.  It is not attached or affiliated with any religion or religionist groups. The translation of Reiki is “universal life force with “Rei” meaning universal and “Ki” meaning life force.  Reiki is founded around 5 precepts which Reiki Practitioner/Master follows in their day to day life.    
 
Everything is made up of energy.   Blockages in the energy flow can result in pain or illness.  Reiki is a hands-on treatment that smooths out energy flow to remove blockages and align charkas. Sessions are typically 50 to 55 minutes and can be done in-person or at a distance.

The Let Animals Lead® developed by Kathleen Prasad is the Reiki process that I follow.  This method focuses on the animal’s essence rather than the issues or illness they may be experiencing.

Sessions always begin with asking the animal’s permission directly or through intention.  The Reiki Practitioner holds a peaceful space for the animal who chooses whether they wish to participate

 The animal leads the session with the ability to move freely in and out of the treatment space.  Hand contact is not required unless the animal through body language specifically requests it. As the session progresses, the animal becomes calm, relaxed and may fall asleep. The length of treatment is full dependent of the animal but typically are between 30 and 60 minutes.  As with “Human Reiki” sessions can be in-person or at a distance.          

All animals are treated as if they were a member of my own animal family.

Animal Communications is intuitively connecting thoughts and feelings. It’s a heart to heart connection that focuses on the light within the animal. Animals can be with us here or in spirit having made their transition.  By connecting with your animal’s heart, it allows me to have a greater understanding of the root cause of behavioral issues, how they are feeling and any messages that they may have to share with you.

From personal experience; when my dog Coco and my daughter’s horse Zander made their transitions due to health concerns, I connected with each of them.  Through a heart to heart connection and feelings, I communicated exactly what process would be, what would be done, how they might feel, and they could both leave their bodies several days or hours before the scheduled time.  They both transitioned peacefully, knowing what to expect, that they were loved and protected.
